Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Breckenridge, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000428247 The TOWN is seeking design consulting services to re-design the section of Airport Road from Floradora Drive to the Breckenridge Terrace Apartments (see Attachment C for limits of work). This section needs a redesign due to previous development (homes and businesses), the new development being constructed (Runway Neighborhood), future potential developments of Colorado Mountain College student housing, and potential expansion of Upper Blue Elementary School. This section of road is increasing in traffic volume for vehicle, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit. See the attached Traffic Study for more details. The Town has a goal for improving pedestrian, bicycle, and transit modes of transportation. The project will require undergrounding the storm sewer system to allow for maximizing the use of the right of way. Final property boundary survey will be performed by the Town and provided to the selected consultant design team to refine the design.
