A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Installation of curbs on Constitution Drive :- The Village of Washingtonville is seeking written quotes from qualified, registered contractors for the removal, prep work, and installation of concrete curbs and ADA intersection ramps along Constitution Drive. Removal and proper disposal of approximately 700 linear feet of damaged existing curbing. Areas of curb to be removed/installed shall be determined by the Village. o Excavation, grading, and compaction of sub-base material. o Furnishing and installing 4000 psi concrete, 8-inch wide at base tapered to 6-inch wide at top. Curb reveal to match existing conditions up to 6-inch reveal. Concrete curbs to match existing municipal standards. o Installation of standard poured-in-place or pre-cast concrete curbing, including joints and restoration of adjacent asphalt/topsoil. o Traffic control, cones, and safety signage during construction. o Adjoining asphalt shall be saw-cut minimum 3-feet from curb face. Restoration shall be backfilling with compacted Item 4 and installation of 3-inches compacted thickness of Type 6 asphalt. o The work shall also include the removal and replaced of 2 -ADA ramps in compliance with In New York State, intersection sidewalk ramps must comply tightly with both federal ADA/PROWAG standards and NYSDOT Standard Sheet 608-01 including Detectable Warning Units (Truncated Domes). o Work shall include the removal and proper disposal of all materials.
