Renovation and reconfiguration of the lower level of Moon Library including toilet room renovation to meet ADA standards, creation of a new student space with technology infrastructure, and construction of new north and south building entrance vestibules. The scope of work includes the complete renovation of existing toilet rooms to meet current accessibility standards and improve fixtures, finishes, and layout efficiency. A new dedicated student space will be created, designed to support both individual study and collaborative use, incorporating flexible furnishings, improved lighting, and updated technology infrastructure. The project also introduces a new fully accessible entrance on the north side of the building, including the construction of a vestibule to improve weather protection, circulation, and universal access to the lower level. In addition, a new vestibule will be added to the existing south entrance at the lower level to enhance thermal performance, reduce air infiltration, and provide a more defined and welcoming entry sequence.
