13% MBE and 17% WBE participation Scope ofwork is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for UH East and West Parking Garage Repairs The main features ofthe work shall include, but not limited to the following: General construction Coordinate logistics and provide safety barriers. Structural Repairs to the top and bottom surface of the upper most level (Level 5) of the East and West Garage, phased to minimize loss of parking capacity. The repairs include the following work. Deep and shallow concrete repairs to horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces. Epoxy crack injection to horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces. Replacement of concrete washes at drive lanes and in areas of drains. Replacement of sealant and expansion joints. Cleaning the concrete surface and applying a penetrating concrete sealer. Repainting the lines to match the existing layout. Concrete wash replacement and concrete repairs at the drain replacement locations at all levels. Slab on grade replacement at the West Garage in areas around drain line replacements. Repairs to the concrete structure in the stairs of both the East and West Garages. Concrete cleaning of the upper portion of the facades of the East and West Garages. Cleaning of the exterior of both the East and West Bridges. Structural repairs to concrete parking garage levels including deep/shallow concrete repairs, epoxy crack injection, concrete wash and slab replacement, sealant/expansion joint replacement, concrete sealer application, and line painting. Scope also includes plumbing upgrades consisting of replacement of drains, piping, risers, cleanouts, trench drains, and fire protection check valve, as well as painting of interior natural gas piping.
