Site work and paving for a civil project in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project generally comprises the installation of an 18" stormwater conveyance pipe, surface restoration, full depth asphalt reclamation, and all incidental work related thereto. All construction work is included in one prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis with alternate bids as indicated in the Bid Form. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 10% of the maximum bid price, to be furnished according to the Instructions to Bidders. All required forms, statements, affidavits, and certifications must be submitted as listed in Article 7 of each Bid Form. Not less than the minimum wages and salaries in accordance with provisions of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 must be paid throughout the project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each at least equal to the contract price. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the owner for up to sixty days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to award.
