Site work and paving for a road / highway in Solebury, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested electronically via the PennBid System for road projects including curbline milling (4,400 square yards) and Superpave wearing course installation (1,650 tons). Bids must be made on forms provided and submitted through PennBid. Bidders must register with PennBid and pay associated fees. The project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, and bidders must pay at least the prevailing wage rate. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for at least 10% of the total bid amount, along with an Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program) is required. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory insurance, performance and payment bonds (each for 100% of the contract price), and a maintenance bond (100% of contract price), all from a corporate surety licensed in Pennsylvania and approved by the Township. Solebury Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
