Renovation of a municipal facility in Rankin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and all related appurtenances at the Borough of Rankin Municipal Building. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in favor of the Borough of Rankin in the amount of not less than ten percent of the proposal, as evidence that the bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the contract in case of award. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days once filed. The Borough of Rankin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Copies of bidding documents may be obtained from Glenn Engineering & Associates with a non-refundable deposit, and no documents will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening.
