Site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Godley, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of August 10, 2026 no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Godley, Texas is requesting Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") from qualified firms to design/build services associated with the planning, design, permitting, and construction of improvements and expansion to the City's Fire Station. Question Deadline 06/29/2026 Any inquiries regarding this RFQ shall be directed to: A. City Secretary, Brittany Gross, at brittany.gross@godleytx.gov B. Fire Chief, Brian Thompson, at brian.thompson@godleytx.gov The DBL is based on the addition of an approximately 1008 square foot building housing six (6) bunk rooms, two (2) storage closets and one (1) full restroom and shower all designed to match the existing fire station. Completion of the addition will include a 5 foot breezeway from the existing fire station to the new addition. The City would also like to add a washer and dryer connection and anticipates a change to the current electric panel from a 200 AMP to a 400 AMP. The City may or may not elect to build up to that total. The DBL will be reduced accordingly if the Council decides not to incorporate the full program.
