Site work for a water / sewer project in Gary, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the installation of new 8-inch diameter PVC SDR 35 sanitary sewer piping for approximately 215 linear feet from Manhole No. 588 to new Manhole No. 588A, and another 215 linear feet from Manhole No. 588A to new Manhole No. 588B. It also includes the installation of two new 4-foot diameter precast manholes, No. 588A and No. 588B, complete with copolymer polypropylene plastic steps. Under Alternative 2 for East 7th Avenue, the work includes installing new 8-inch diameter PVC SDR 35 piping for approximately 200 linear feet from Manhole No. 585 to new Manhole No. 585A, and an additional 200 linear feet from Manhole No. 585A to new Manhole No. 585B, along with the installation of two new 4-foot diameter precast manholes, No. 588A and No. 588B, also complete with copolymer polypropylene plastic steps.
