Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sunrise, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Sunrise is determining whether the following services can be provided by multiple contractors. The City is seeking to refurbish SWPS#6 Water Raker designed and manufactured by Hydro Component Systems, LLC. The City of Sunrise requires a qualified contractor to complete refurbishment and repairs on the raker. The Contractor must be able to: Inspect all components of Raker: including the boom/rake head assembly, three motors and gearboxes, all electrical and control wiring, harnesses and connectors; Rebuild boom/rake head assembly to include all new rollers, sprockets, chain, springs and bearings; Straighten boom sections if necessary; Replace PM Nord motors and gearboxes (Carriage, Winch, Boom Actuator); Replace and program present PLC with Allen Bradley compact logics PLC. Replace and program present VFDs with Allen Bradley VFDs. Replace all wiring, harnesses and connectors; Clean all stainless-steel surfaces and re-paint exterior coated surfaces; Conductor bar assembly if necessary; Test Raker prior to shipment on indoor test track and outdoor overhead test stand with the rated load on the rake head; Installation and removal of the raker M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
