Renovation of a swimming pool in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the 2026 Meadows Aquatic Center Outdoor Swimming Pool Renovation. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, as well as the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work. It is mandatory for the contractor awarded the contract and any subcontractor under them to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers, and mechanics employed in the execution of the contract or such work. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope and marked accordingly. The Park Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part if it is deemed in the public's best interest.
