Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Youngsville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of upgrading existing sanitary sewer Pump Stations #8 (Durel/Beau Jardin) and #17 (Fieldcrest), including replacing pumps, piping, valves, electrical and controls, and other related work. Bidders must show their license number on the bid and the envelope. Bid documents can be viewed, downloaded, and submitted online at www.centralbidding.com; vendors must register with Central Auction House to submit bids electronically. Complete bid documents are available at the office of the Engineer, Domingue, Szabo & Associates, Inc., for a fee. Deposits for documents furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded if returned in good condition within ten days after bid receipt. Contractors submitting bids electronically must provide the same documents as those submitting by mail or hand delivery, including the Bid Form and Bid Security. Bids must be signed in accordance with LRS Title 38:2212(B)5, and a Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the person signing the bid must be included. A "Bid Guarantee" equivalent to 5% of the bid price must accompany each bid, and a performance bond of not less than 100% of the contract price is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
