Demolition for a municipal facility in Wheeling, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the 14th Street Development – Building Demolition Project. Documents for the project may be examined at designated locations and can be obtained by contacting M&G Architects & Engineers, with a $100 deposit for complete sets provided to prime bidders only. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site. Each bidder must submit bid security as specified. Employment conditions and equal opportunity requirements are to be observed as per Executive Order 11246 and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act applies, and contractors must be licensed at the time of bidding. The owner may waive informalities or reject any/all bids. Bidders must make best efforts to utilize minority business enterprises located in the county, adjacent counties, or the general trade area to the greatest extent feasible.
