This project provides for the reconstruction of approximately 400 linear feet of 8-inch diameter vitrified clay sanitary sewer along Grove Terrace. The sewer is located in Consent Decree Sanitary Sewershed 12 and was identified to be completed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the Consent Decree Corrective Action Plan. This project shall be coordinated with storm sewer and water main improvements. The 8-inch diameter vitrified clay sanitary sewer was installed in the early 1900's and has deteriorated to the point that reconstruction is necessary. In addition, property owners have indicated their laterals need to be replaced and in some locations laterals need to be separated to ensure uninterrupted service and reduce the risk of back up. The project is included in the City's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
