The Work consists of the following 1. The Work generally involves the construction of a new administration building, alterations to the existing administration building to accommodate and house the police department and related site work. a. The new administration building new construction consists of one story and attic totaling approximately 6,053 square feet, and all related site work, located adjacent to the existing administration building on a 3.758-acre site (141 W. Metzler Road). b. The existing administration building (157 W. Metzler Road) to be renovated to expand the police department consists of one story totaling approximately 20,469 square feet and is located in West Earl Township adjacent to the 3.758-acre site referenced above. SEALED BIDS are invited by the undersigned under the terms and conditions contained within the Contract Documents for the project described as the New Administration Building and Police Department Expansion for West Earl Township. SEPARATE BIDS are invited on a lump sum basis for West Earl Township for Electrical Contract. BIDS must be accompanied with all documen-tation as required by the Instructions to Bidders and PennBid Bid forms. Proposal security shall accompany each proposal submitted in the form of a Bid Bond executed by an acceptable surety company uploaded to PennBid and other required docu-mentation, or a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check or bank cashier's check in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the Base Bid.
