Thorpe Municipal Building. provide professional engineering and related design services for the construction and installation of a new interior vestibule at The Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building, located at 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, as well as the installation and integration of a key fob access control system. The Town seeks to improve the safety, accessibility, resiliency, and operational security of the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building through the construction of a secure interior vestibule and the modernization of building access controls utilizing a municipal key fob system. The project goals include: Enhancing public and employee safety; Improving controlled access to municipal offices; Increasing operational resiliency and security infrastructure; Supporting long-term municipal sustainability initiatives; Improving energy efficiency and environmental separation at the main entrance; Advancing technology modernization efforts in accordance with CREST program objectives.
