Site work and renovation of a civil project in Dubuque, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of installing a booster pump station along Central Avenue and connecting from existing water main in Pressure Zone 1 to Pressure Zone 2 via the proposed water main installed in the Central Avenue Water Main Extension (Pressure Zone 2 and 5 Connection) Project. The Roosevelt Street Water Tower project (completed 2022) was designed to provide effective storage for both Pressure Zones 2 and 3 once future distribution improvements were complete. This project provides for the construction of a connection between Pressure Zone 1 and Pressure Zone 2 to allow water to fill the Roosevelt Street Water Tower from a second supply location, as recommended by the Iowa DNR and as stated in the SRF funding commitment letter for the Roosevelt Street Water Tower construction project. The related project of Water Main Extension Central Ave (Pressure Zone 2 and 5 Connection) must be completed prior to this project. Another related project to complete the pressure zone connection is the Water Main Extension Olympic Heights (Pressure Zone 3 and 5 Connection) Project, which will allow full benefits of the Roosevelt Water Tower and this Central Avenue Booster Pump Station. The project is included in the City's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
