Site work for a water / sewer project in Faro, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work involves the installation of process, mechanical and electrical systems to enhance and improve backwashing capabilities at the Cross Valley Pond Treatment Plant (CVPTP) at the Faro Mine Complex. The project includes the supply, installation and testing of process piping, valves and joints, pumps, cable trays, electrical conduits and cables, grounding system, and the fabrication and erection of structural steel for access. Upgrades will be made to the process mechanical and electrical systems at the treatment facility, including the supply and placement of two filtered water tanks, new Square D motor control center sections, and Schneider VDFs. All instrumentation and controls devices, transmitters, and instruments must be pre-calibrated from the factory, installed, and tested before plant commissioning.
