The scope of work includes salvage of existing bathroom fixtures for reinstallation, demolition of the existing floor slab, floor drains, restroom doors, and wall finishes, installation of new compacted granular subgrade, reconfiguration of under-slab piping, installation of a new concrete floor with epoxy finish, preparation of existing CMU wall surfaces to receive new painted finish, installation of existing fixtures in the new configuration along with new fixtures per the construction documents, and installation of new doors and hardware. Bids must include bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as guaranty for execution of contract documents and furnishing required contract security. If the successful bidder fails to execute contract documents and provide required security within 15 days of Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the award and the bid security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the bidder who, in the Owner's judgment, will best serve the Owner's interest. Question Deadline 07/17/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
