The City of Miramar is soliciting quotes from qualified Electrical Contractors to furnish equipment and labor for the replacement of fourteen (14) bollard light fixtures in the rear parking lot of the Miramar Cultural Center (2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025). The work includes the safe disconnection and disposal of existing bollard fixtures, furnishing and installation of fourteen (14) new Sternberg Lighting RW3-42 Rialta Bollard fixtures, all necessary electrical connections, site restoration, system testing, and coordination of the final inspection with the City's Project Manager. 1. Prep Work a. Inspect existing bollards, electrical pathways, conduit conditions, and mounting surfaces. b. Safely disconnect power to each existing bollard following electrical safety protocols. c. Identify any damaged conduit or underground wiring requiring repair or replacement. d. Identify and document existing concrete footings requiring additional structural correction before beginning work. 2. Supply and Installation of New Bollard Lighting Assemblies Remove all existing bollard light fixtures, bases, anchors, and any related hardware. Dispose of removed components in accordance with local environmental and recycling regulations. Contractor shall furnish and install fourteen (14) new bollard light fixtures: o Fixture: Sternberg Lighting RW3-42 Rialta Bollard (Catalog No. RW3-42-6L40-TS-MDL05) o Height: 42 inches o Wattage: 44 Watts o Voltage: 120-277 VAC o Color Temperature: 4000K o Finish: Urban Silver Matte o Provide compatible drivers, LED modules, gaskets, and mounting hardware. o Provide new conduit, junction boxes, wiring, or grounding components where required. o Ensure all materials meet UL listing, Florida Building Code, and manufacturer installation requirements. o Lay out bollard locations per approved site plan, maintaining uniform spacing and ADA considerations. o Perform trenching or surface conduit runs if needed to establish proper electrical feeds. o Install new bollard bases or anchors to manufacturer specifications. o Pull, connect, and test new wiring with proper grounding and waterproofing. 3. Installation Requirements All installation work shall comply with: o National Electrical Code (NEC) o ADA requirements (where applicable) o City of Miramar engineering and safety standards a.
