Construction of intersection improvements including sidewalk extension, roadway regrading, soldier pile retaining wall, cement concrete curb, gutter, 5-foot wide sidewalk, utility relocation/adjustment, minor storm drainage improvements, HMA pavement patches, cement concrete curb ramps, traffic barrier, fencing, surface restoration, and traffic control. project includes two schedules of work. Schedule A includes extending the sidewalk from the southeast corner of SW Normandy Road and 4th Avenue SW approximately 250 feet west to connect to existing sidewalk on the south side of SW Normandy Road. In addition, the intersection of 4th Avenue SW and SW Normandy Road will be regraded. A soldier pile retaining wall will be constructed on the south side of 4th Avenue SW . The improvements will include cement concrete curb, gutter and 5- foot wide sidewalk as well as utility relocation/adjustment, minor storm drainage improvements, HMA pavement patches, cement concrete curb ramps, traffic barrier, fencing, surface restoration and traffic control, and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. Schedule B includes the construction of a storm treatment vault. The Work shall be substantially complete within 70 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Normandy Park, Washington.
