Renovation of a multi-residential development in De Queen, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the work and maintain sufficient staffing and resources to complete the project in accordance with the approved construction schedule. Minimum Staffing Requirements The successful Contractor shall maintain an adequate number of qualified crews to complete the work within the required timeframes. At the request of the Housing Authority, the Contractor shall increase staffing levels if progress is determined to be insufficient. Unit Completion Each dwelling unit shall be completed within two (2) consecutive calendar days from the commencement of work. Completion shall include: Removal of existing water heater; Installation of new tankless gas water heater; Replacement of required gas lines; Drywall repair; Painting and finish work Restoration of all disturbed areas; Removal of construction debris; and Final inspection and acceptance by the Housing Authority. The Sevier County Housing Authority reserves the right to require the successful bidder to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with HUD requirements and applicable Arkansas law prior to the execution of a contract. Warranty The Sevier County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, negotiate with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as permitted by law, and award contracts by individual project, by city, or as a single combined award if determined to be in the best interest of the Housing Authority.
