The Work consists of removal and replacement of the interior coating and exterior paint at Owner's two-million-gallon Sonoma Tank No. 1, located approximately one-quarter of a mile westerly of First Street West at the northerly edge of the City of Sonoma, Sonoma County, California. The Work includes, but is not limited to, repairing corroded steel features, installing lateral bracing, retrofitting tank anchorage, and preparing steel surfaces for interior coatings and exterior paint. Water quality related activities include the repair and replacement of tank screening, and modification of the overflow pipe to protect against intrusion of animals, insects, and back-siphonage of contaminated air. Health and safety improvements consist of manway, access hatch, and ladder improvements, and replacing the fall restraint system. Electrical improvements include installation of a new sub panel, telemetry panel, and instrumentation. Estimated Project Cost Range: $2,292,000 to $2,802,000.
