Proposals are invited to provide maintenance service for the Sklar Waterfront Park Trails during the spring and summer growing seasons from July 31, 2026 to July 31, 2027. The proposal must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, quote prices F.O.B. to the specified location, and exclude state and federal taxes not applicable to municipalities. Three copies of the proposal must be sealed, clearly marked, and delivered or mailed to the specified address by the deadline. Bidders must supply proof of insurance, including worker’s compensation as per New Hampshire requirements, broad-form comprehensive general liability, and motor vehicle insurance with specified minimum coverage amounts. The Town of Merrimack must be named as an additional insured on all policies. The contractor must agree in writing to indemnify the Town from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from the contractor’s actions or omissions related to the project. Award decisions will be based on price and the Town’s evaluation of proposed quality and bidder’s experience and reputation, with references for three comparable projects completed in the past three years required. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid that best serves the Town’s interests.
