Navarro Independent School District ("Owner" or "NISD") extends this Request for Qualifications (" RFQ") to solicit a Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") from any interested party ("Proposer") for Design - Build ("DB ") Services ("Services") for the Navarro Elementary and Annex Roof and HVAC Replacement Project ("Project") . The Project is funded by the District's voter-approved May 2, 2026 bond authorization (Proposition A) and reinvests in the existing Navarro Elementary and Annex buildings , which will open as the Navarro Early Childhood Center in August 2027 serving Pre- K through 1st grade students. The Owner requires full replacement of the existing roof systems and existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems at two District buildings located on the Navarro Elementary campus in Geronimo, Texas: (1) the Navarro Elementary main building, and (2) the adjacent Annex building. Both buildings will be repurposed as the Navarro Early Childhood Center in August 2027. Work shall include, at a minimum : removal and disposal of existing roof systems; furnishing and installation of new roof assemblies meeting current District performance standards and applicable energy code; removal and disposal of existing HVAC equipment, ductwork, and controls ( as applicable ) ; furnishing and installation of new HVAC systems including air handling units , condensers , ductwork modifications , controls , building management system integration , electrical connections, structural support, and all required commissioning . Associated patch and repair of finishes affected by the Work is included . Consideration of early release package for equipment procurement, Storage and Storage Fees should be included .
