Reference Number 0000429054 The City of Allen Park, MI is issuing this Request for Quotations (RFQ) from tree nurseries capable of providing and installing trees on city rights-of-way as part of an anticipated Fall 2026 planting program. All trees will be planted in accordance with the Detailed Tree Planting Specifications (attachment 1) as well as the DNR's tree planting diagram (attachment 2). All planting sites will be in residential rights of way, street-accessible, with no overhead utilities, and selected by the City's Department of Public Services ("DPS"). Preferred tree species are provided in the attached bid sheet (attachment 3); other species may be proposed provided they meet the specifications described further in this RFQ. The attached bid sheet lists the department's current approved street tree species list. The City of Allen Park reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or parts of proposals; to waive any and all irregularities, informalities, or inconsistencies; to negotiate contract terms with the successful applicant(s); and to disregard all non-conforming, non- responsive, or conditional proposals. The City will accept the proposal(s) or parts of any proposal(s) that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be in its best interest. Such acceptance of any proposal(s) or parts of any proposal(s) will be based on level of experience, qualifications, costs, and other factors. Price shall not be the sole determining factor.
