Question Deadline 07/24/2026 Every request for interpretation of Plans, Specifications or any portion of the Contract Documents shall be in writing and must be addressed to the office of the DISTRICT, and to be given consideration must be received by the DISTRICT at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. The goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation on DISTRICT projects has been set at Twelve (12) percent. 1.1 The work to be performed shall consist of the construction of the Lining Contract No. 10 Sewer Rehabilitation, Project No. 2024035 project for the Metropolitan Sewerage District of Buncombe County, North Carolina. The project shall generally consist of the furnishing of all services, supplies , materials and equipment, and performing of all labor for the construction and installation of approximately 20,324 L.F. of fold and formed PVC pipe or cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) and associated manhole and service lateral rehabilitation, and all appurtenances. The project will consist of approximately 1,984 L.F. of 6-inch, 11,892 L.F. of 8 -inch, 1,695 L.F. of 10-inch, 490 L.F. of 12-inch, 602 L.F. of 15-inch, and 3,661 L.F. of 27-inch lining. Include with your bid, the fold and formed PVC pipe or CIPP manufacture product specifications with structural properties and engineered design thickness calculations. 1.2 The work shall be performed under unit price contract, and shall consist of furnishing all materials, supplies, and equipment; performing all labor and services incidental to or necessary for the complete construction of the project in accordance with the Plans and Specifications; and maintenance of each completed portion of the work until final acceptance of the entire project by the DISTRICT, unless otherwise approved by the ENGINEER.
