Modernization of elevators at the AGY facility. Questions Due Date and Time: June 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm EDT The purpose of this solicitation is to get competitive Design-Build proposals for the modernization of Forty (40) elevators in MTA's system, including: design, construction, installation, commissioning, and certification of the new equipment. The Scope of Work for this project is for Forty (40) Elevators Rehabilitation throughout 24 locations in the MTA Metro System. Services include but are not limited to three types of elevators at various locations along the MTA Metro System. Project Goals / Scope Modernization of Forty (40) Elevators ( a mix of Hydraulic, traction and Machine Room Less MRL ). Modernization includes but is not limited to the replacement of driving machines or hydraulic pump units, all hydraulic piping and valves, power and logic controllers, conduit and wiring, hoist ropes, traveling cable, hydraulic pistons and cylinders, new cab enclosures car frames and platforms, new buffers and supports, door operators, entrance doors and frames. The proposed new equipment must have a monitoring system. The system must be compatible with MTA's current remote monitoring system. Communication with MTA remote monitoring system shall be considered part of the modernization package for each one of the elevators in this contract. It is the offeror responsibility to ensure proper communication with MTA monitoring system. This includes testing of existing wiring and/or installation of missing wiring to establish said communication. The offeror must obtain 15 remote monitoring system licenses. The software licenses must remain active for the duration on the project. The offeror must provide license for PLC development software. Elevator requirements a. Software 1) Each elevator CPU should host the data points detailed in sections 14 21 23 and 14 24 23 . That data should be hosted over one of the following protocols: a) Modbus TCIP b) Ethernet IP b.
