Replacement of the existing bridge over Mill Creek including asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, guardrail, storm drain pipe, infiltration facilities, new signing, pavement markings, bank stabilization, channel grading, and landscaping improvements. The improvements for which bids will be received are described below: This contract provides for the replacement of Wallula Bridge over Mill Creek from Old Highway 12 to East of Harding Road. Work includes replacement of the existing bridge over Mill Creek, asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and guardrail; storm drain pipe and infiltration facilities; new signing and pavement markings; bank stabilization, channel grading, landscaping improvements, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Walla \Walla County Department of Public Works. This project contains a 14% FSBE Goal.
