Design and installation of a 100' x 100' x 5" concrete slab with welded wire fabric and perimeter fencing with one gate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway." This document outlines the scope of work for the Design and installation of a 100'x100'x5" slab with WWF at the rear of bldg. 4190. The pad has had fill dirt brought in over the last two years and will require some grading and compacting (to 98% compaction). The slab is to have a broom finish, minimum 3000 psi concrete with 6x6 WWF. There will be approximately 75 satellite equipment locations that require 2 ties down points per location. Method for tie down- Install a _" internally threaded anchor inserts, _" studded eye bolts and dust caps for when not in use. Each piece of equipment requires about a 10'x10' area. The layout will be by owner prior to placement; anchors are installed after slab is poured. A sidewalk from the pavement to the pad should be 6' wide, thickened edge, with WWF and two number 5 rebars in the thickened edge. 3-4" exterior in-use sleeve will be installed on the wall of the existing bldg. Contractor to submit their product to the construction department for approval. The slab will be fenced with one gate located at the sidewalk per Camp Blanding fencing standards. It is not expected that additional fill will be required but, If so the hauling and placement would be for the Contractor.
