Renovation of a municipal facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Muriel Stanley Venne Provincial Building and 124 Avenue Building - Security and Safety Systems Upgrade Project: Upgrade existing intrusion systems in both buildings. Upgrade and add on to existing camera system in both buildings. Integrate camera, card access, and intrusion system of both buildings. Installation of various wayfinding signage in both buildings. Install various partitions (drywall and/or chainlink) in various areas for safer egress in the MSV building as well as passage within the warehouse. In the MSV building, enclose parking lot with fencing, as well as install electronic gates, integrating into security system. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from consultants is currently underway. Construction is planned for 2027.
