The project consists of the replacement of culvert ID=s #193333101 and #193333102. Work includes demolition of existing box culverts and the construction of two new 3-sided, cast-in-place box culverts on spread footings with roadway work, paving, and any incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located in Section 35, Township 29N, Range 21W, Greene County, Missouri. The total length of improvements along the centerline of Farm Road 193 is approximately 246 feet. All bidders must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven days prior to the bid opening date. All bids shall be submitted as a hard copy. The Greene County Highway Department assumes no liability for mailed or shipped bids failing to arrive prior to the closing of bids. The Wage Rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962" and implementing regulations. By statutory authority, preference shall be given on other than Federal Aid Projects to materials, products, supplies, provisions, and other articles produced, manufactured, made, or grown within the State of Missouri where they are of suitable character and can be obtained at reasonable market prices in the State, are of a quality suited to the purpose intended and can be secured without additional cost over foreign products or products of other states.
