The Work to be done under the Contract consists of asphalt roadway construction and rehabilitation on Kilcona Park Roadway from Norris Road to Harbourview Access Road, and asphalt roadway reconstruction on Harbourview Park Access Road from Springfield Road to the Northern Terminus. Major components include removal of organic material, trees, bushes, grass, and topsoil; removal of bollards and gates; excavation of roadway, multi-use path and ditches; installation of temporary silt fencing; removal and installation of culverts and culvert safety grates; installation and abandonment of a 1,000 mm diameter culvert; compaction, placement of fill, geotextile, sub-base, and base course materials; installation of French drains, granular pathways, parking lots, parking curbs, random stone riprap; removal of fencing, weigh scale, and asphalt approaches; planning of existing asphalt; installation of bollards, waste receptacles, 1.8 m chain link fencing and gates, mulch pathways, boulders, trees, topsoil, and sod; and placement of Type MS2 and MS1 asphalt pavement using grade control equipment. For Harbourview Access Road, additional work includes installation of EnviroGrid, construction of temporary access road, removal and installation of catch basins, and installation of subdrains.
