Demolition of existing medium voltage (MV) backbone cabling and installation of new cabling, ductbanks, and MV sectionalizer cabinets. A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include: The existing medium voltage (MV) backbone cabling from switchgear MCSG section 329 to pad mount switchgear S350 shall be demolished. This demolition will be required to be completed prior to pulling new cabling through the south loop connection. The new south loop connection shall be pulled in as much as possible prior to demolition to limit the amount of time between demolition and installation of the completed loop. New MV sectionalizer cabinets shall be installed along the route for terminations. The project shall utilize the existing conduit pathway from pad mount switchgear S350 through the MV south loop with new ductbanks from the existing manholes to the sectionalizers installed. Coordination with BSU facilities for proper switching of circuits during demolition is a top priority to ensure the backbone is kept active for the duration of the project. Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum.
