Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Martinsville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The intent of the Project includes construction of 1. The medium pressure in-line UV disinfection units and electrical controls are to be replaced. The grit concentrator/classifier and grit dewatering escalator units, grit pump, and electrical controls are to be replaced. 2. The intent of the project is to complete the UV disinfection replacement work during the non disinfection season between November 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027. All UV disinfection equipment must be installed, tested and in-service by March 15, 2027. The work is as described herein, as shown on the plans, and as specified in the bid/specifications documents. Construction shall be performed in a workmanlike manner and to the satisfaction of the Engineer. All of the above items including site work, piping, electrical, demolition and all other incidental work necessary for construction of the project as described in the project documents, whether explicitly indicated or not. The Contractor shall provide all resources needed to complete the work in a quality manner according to the specified schedule. The work of the project is generally described as follows: The medium pressure in line UV disinfection units and electrical controls are to be replaced. The grit concentrator/classifier and grit dewatering escalator units, grit pump, and electrical controls are to be replaced. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidders bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate bid, Approved performance and payment bonds guaranteeing faithful and proper performance of the work and materials, to be executed by an acceptable surety company, will be required of the Contractor at the time of contract execution. The bond will be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof.
