Demolition and removal of an existing 60-foot concrete decked truck scale and replacement with a 40-foot by 11-foot concrete platform deck scale. Scope includes associated stormwater drainage improvements, truck traffic maintenance, and scale calibration. This project will take place at the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF), 1662 S. Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104. Bonds: Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). Question Deadline 07/13/2026 at 12:00 PM ET -- All questions and /or inquiries regarding the bidding documents shall be submitted online. 1. Attendance at 1-2 Kick-off meeting(s) with CRW to review specific project requirements. 2. Shop drawings must be submitted to CRW for CRW's designated engineers approval. 3. Verify with all state and local codes prior to submitting a bid requirements for approach ramp length , pitch , and clean out height/elevation . 4. Piers must be installed and properly anchored. 5. Site grades shall rapidly drain surface run-off away from foundation and piers. Verify adequate soil compaction for all footings. 6. Anchor bolts to be installed after foundation has cured. 7. Wiring inside and underneath the platform shall be enclosed in conduit routing within sections with no exposed wiring to alleviate substantially potential rodent damage. 8. The new truck scale must fit within the existing site plan as per the Construction Drawings for AWTF Truck Scale dated January 23, 2026. 9. Contractor shall perform all necessary work as depicted on the site plan including but not limited to excavation, site grading, concrete work, scale installation, bollard installation, electrical , paving, asphalt restoration, site restoration, and scale calibration. 10. Perform Pennsylvania One Call to have utility companies located within the project area to mark the location of their facilities in the field to determine the horizontal and vertical location of utilities to avoid conflicts with CRW's proposed improvements. 11. Ensure foundation layout provides ease of washout/cleaning. 12. Crane work to offload and place new truck scale and secure to existing foundation. 13. Contractor shall mount one ( 1) sealed indicator along with associated instrumentation and enclosures on the interior wall of the existing steel pole building at approximately 60" elevation in close proximity to the existing exterior LED scale display. Contractor shall utilize existing display if possible. 14. Labor and mileage to install and calibrate truck scale following installation . Owner to supply the following One ( 1) 120 volt, single phase, 20A dedicated electrical disconnect (or as indicated in the proposed specifications provided by the contractor) shall be provided in an owner designated location adjacent to the truck scale concrete foundation .
