The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) invites proposals from suppliers, manufacturers or design/build teams to supply and install a pre-constructed municipal irrigation well control station package. The station package must be in a certified and weather resistant enclosure for all electrical and mechanical equipment and shall include supply of a well pump to operate a recently drilled irrigation well at Meadow Park in Whistler, British Columbia. Successful proponent will supply and deliver a fully equipped, weather resistant, irrigation well control station having appropriate certification for its purpose, and a suitable well pump, to the RMOW. Well and station are intended to operate in spring, summer and fall only and requires components for safe winterization of station equipment. Successful proponent to provide a concrete pad and install the station on the pad. Successful proponent will make all mechanical and electrical connections within the control station and to/from the well. Successful proponent to install the well pump and make all pump connections. Successful proponent will provide all layout plans and shop drawing for the well control station and pump, an itemized list of components, schematics of mechanical , electrical , instrumentation, controls, and communication equipment. Successful proponent will provide all equipment manuals, maintenance and operational documentation necessary for ongoing operation of the station and pump. Successful proponent will provide a station control narrative, and a commissioning plan. Successful proponent will provide testing, startup, commissioning, operator training, warranties, and as-built documentation of the station and pump. 600V 15amp power supply will be brought to and through the control station pad by others in advance of station delivery. 2.2 Specific Deliverables Mechanical Supply and install a well pump to provide 120psi at 2 L/s flow rate. Supply and install all piping, fittings and adapters from the well to the control station. Well control station should include but not limited to the following: an air/vacuum release valve, over pressure blowoff valve, a flow meter, a flow sensor, isolation valves, a drain valve, PRV, a spin-down or disk filter, foot valve. and pressure gauge(s). Any additional items required for safe operation and winterization of mechanical equipment. Well control station will provide two outlet pipes for connection to the irrigation system, each with their own shutoff valve before exiting the station: 75mm outlet at 80 psi 63mm outlet at 120 psi All mechanical connections in the station and to the well are to be provided by the successful proponent. Electrical A well level transmitter that can be removed for maintenance. Electrical panel with power distribution for both 600V and 120V. 600V VFD- for the pump and relay-based control system. Station ventilation, LED lighting, 120V duplex receptacle, insulation, and small thermostatcontrolled space heater. Low level well alarm set at 2m above pump intake An RTU to support station monitoring, and alarms via SIM card communication . Sea to Sky Security is the standard alarm system provider for our municipal well stations and sanitary lift stations. Installation and integration of RMOW supplied Toro Sentinel Irrigation Controller to the station RTU for all water demand signals.
