Renovation of a medical facility in Whistler, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the selection of a General Contractor for the Whistler Health Care Centre (WHCC) CT Scanner Replacement Project (F563-00). The Work comprises the renovation of the CT suite at the Whistler Health Care Centre to support the installation of a new CT scanner system. This includes all architectural, mechanical, electrical, and associated work required to prepare the CT room, control room, and related support spaces within the existing Medical Imaging department footprint. The decommissioning and removal of the existing CT scanner, as well as the installation, calibration, and commissioning of the new CT scanner, will be carried out by others under separate contract. The project is a like-for-like replacement within the existing Medical Imaging department footprint. The CT Installation start date of November 23, 2026 and the Go-Live/ready-for-takeover date of December 18, 2026 are critical milestones.
