The scope of work consists of maintaining approximately 13 miles of landscaped and hardscaped street medians, including roundabouts, within the city limits. Required maintenance includes weed control, litter and debris removal, mulch application, pruning and trimming, irrigation observation and minor adjustments, hardscape cleaning, seasonal planting and replacements, traffic control, record-keeping, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) reporting. Work must comply with standards from the California Landscape Contractors Association, University of California Statewide Integrated Pest Management Guidelines, California Department of Pesticide Regulation, Cal/OSHA safety regulations, and traffic control per CA MUTCD. Proposals are requested from qualified firms that can demonstrate evidence of meeting the performance standards and qualifications listed in the specification document.
