The Scope of Services is for the Conservation, Restoration and Replication of Historic Plasterwork as part of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. A Subcontractor(s) is required who possesses the skills, experience, and knowledge of Conservation, Restoration and Replication of Historic Plasterwork. All reinstatement work must be performed by union workers. This prequalification call covers various packages including: Conservation of in-situ plaster elements (flat plaster, run and moulded plaster profiles, and decorative plaster), fabrication and installation of run moulded and decorative plaster elements from 3D scans and master moulds (including pediments, cornices, tympanum, spandrels, arches, pilasters), installation of traditional plaster on substrates such as terracotta, brick, and modern construction assemblies, and modifying in-situ heritage plaster to accommodate building upgrades including MEP infrastructure, seismic restraints, security upgrades, and acoustic upgrades.
