In general, work consists of constructing a new treatment facility for Replacement Well 20R that includes the following: installation of the well pump and appurtenances for the drilled Replacement Well 20R. Construction of a new 40' x 40' treatment building and associated site work, piping, valves, and appurtenances. Furnishing and installing an aeration tower, ion exchange treatment vessels, a chlorination system, interior process piping, an exterior standby generator, building electrical work, onsite stormwater modifications, subsurface DIP raw water main, and subsurface DIP wastewater main. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words “Treatment of Well 20R.” Bid proposals must be addressed to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, NJ 07054, Attention: Purchasing Agent. Delivery of bids must be in person, by overnight courier, or by mail. No bids will be accepted if they arrive after the specified date and time. Bids must be based upon and in strict accordance with the specifications. All bids must be made on the standard proposal forms as designated and required by the specifications. A certified check, cashier's check, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, not in excess of $20,000.00, must be submitted by the bidder. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township reserves the right to waive minor immaterial formalities or to reject any or all proposals in accordance with applicable law. The contract or all bids will be awarded or rejected within sixty (60) days, except bids held for consideration with bidder consent.
