The CITY OF PENSACOLA is accepting bids for the project titled 'HOLLICE T. WILLIAMS PARK MULTI USE PATH.' Specifications and addenda are available on the City's website. The City reserves the authority to reject all bids and re-advertise if necessary. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held virtually. Questions may be directed to the provided contact information. The Hollice T. Williams Multi Use Path will be a standalone construction phase associated with a larger park improvement initiative that will be a transformative landmark in the heart of the City to address flooding and water quality improvements, provide recreational, historical, and cultural experiences, and revitalize an urban corridor. Depending on timing, construction may occur simultaneously with the larger park project funded through another federal grant or immediately following it, therefore, the contractor shall be prepared to work within an active construction site. The contractor's scope of work described herein is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation's Transportation Alternatives (TA) grant program and federally funded. The funding is applied to two geographic areas within the park as indicated in the quantity sheet. They are: 1) East Jordan Street to East Blount Street and 2) East Blount Street to East Gonzalez Street.
