Renovation of an industrial development in Dickinson, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
The project consists of the complete re-sheeting, insulation replacement, and associated electrical and gas line work on two metal building structures: the Falco Metal Building (approx. 60'x100'x20' eave height, located at 2320 Falco Street, Dickinson, Texas) and the WWTP Metal Building (approx. 50'x100'x20' eave height, located at 4900 Nebraska Street, Dickinson, Texas). The work includes the removal of existing deteriorated or damaged sheet metal panels and insulation, replacement with new 26-gauge PBR metal panels and R-10 reflective vinyl-backed fiberglass insulation, removal and reinstallation of electrical fixtures and components, removal and reconnection of existing gas line(s) serving the building, and staircase replacement for the Falco building only. Bids must be sealed, marked as "Falco and WWTP Metal Building Re-Sheeting Project," and delivered in duplicate to the specified address by the stated deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for delivering bids within the District's operating hours. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to inspect the work site and inform themselves of all local conditions. Bidders must register on www.CivcastUSA.com to view and/or download project documents; there is no charge to access these materials. Each bid must include a bid bond (or certified check/bank draft/U.S. Government Bonds as specified) amounting to 2% of the bid, as a guarantee to enter into contract and execute required bonds if awarded. The successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price from an approved surety meeting the specified requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification purposes. This contract is subject to award under Subchapter C, Texas Government Code Chapter 2269.
