The work consists of the following: Lakeside Community Trail Phase 2 #FLT involves approximately 2,300 linear feet of shared-use-path, including a branch to Brook Run Drive, pedestrian crosswalks at Dumbarton Road and Gillespie Avenue, and two crossings over Upham Brook using about 150 linear feet of premanufactured truss and 380 linear feet of concrete boardwalk structures. Improvements also entail drainage design, stormwater management, pavement marking, and signing. Lakeside Community Trail Phase 3 #FLT involves approximately 3,500 linear feet of shared-use-path with a crossing over Upham Brook using about 100 linear feet of premanufactured truss and 490 linear feet of concrete boardwalk structures. Additional work includes drainage design, stormwater management, pavement marking, and signing. Brook Road and Hilliard Road Trail #FLT involves approximately 2,800 linear feet of shared-use path, a pedestrian crosswalk across Hilliard Road (Route 161), a pedestrian crossing over North Run using about 60 linear feet of premanufactured truss and 30 linear feet of concrete boardwalk structures, and a portion of the road diet along Hilliard Road from four to three lanes. Additional components include drainage design, utility design, stormwater management, pavement marking, and signing. Hilliard Road Safety and Mobility Improvements include about 2,700 linear feet of pavement marking and signing improvements within the existing right-of-way to add bicycle lanes and accommodations, including a road diet from four to three lanes along Hilliard Road between Lakeside Avenue and about 1,000 feet west of Brook Road, tying into the Brook Road and Hilliard Road Trail improvements.
