The City of Redding (City) is soliciting proposals for construction management services including inspection, materials testing, and resident engineering duties for the Replace Asphalt Concrete Surfacing Project 2026 (Project). The link to the project plans shows the locations of the project in the City of Redding. The project is funded with general street funds. The plans, specifications, and estimates for the project have been prepared by City staff. The purpose of this project is to improve pavement conditions and reduce maintenance costs on City streets, including portions of Browning Street, Canby Road, and Mistletoe Lane. This project will include wedge grinding, conform grinding, asphalt concrete digouts, paving fabrics/geogrids, asphalt concrete paving, adjusting of valve boxes and manholes, shoulder backing, concrete ramps and sidewalks, traffic control, striping, signs and pavement markings. The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this bid is 5:00 p.m. PT, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
