Pleasantview Township is seeking qualified professional planning consultants to assist in updating its Master Plan. The project involves producing a Master Plan that meets statutory requirements, reflects current community needs, guides land use and policy decisions, incorporates existing data and public input, and is accessible and visually engaging. Services required include: project management and public engagement with public participation processes, analysis and updating of demographic, housing, economic, and land use data, integration of 2022 community survey results, preparation of plan elements such as future land use map, transportation, natural resources, economic development, housing, community facilities, and implementation strategies using GIS, and assistance with statutory adoption processes. Consultants must also provide digital and print-ready formats of the final plan. Proposals should include a cover letter, firm qualifications and experience, approach and work plan, timeline, budget with cost breakdown and hourly rates, and sample work. The project duration is approximately 9 to 15 months. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, work plan quality, statutory process familiarity, ability to complete similar projects, and cost-effectiveness. The Township reserves the right to reject any proposals or waive irregularities.
