Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the Exterior Door Replacement at Cedar High-Rise. All contractors are encouraged to carefully evaluate the project scope of work in the exhibits and to attend the site visit to better understand the existing site conditions. Proposals should be emailed to the designated contact. This project consists of replacing the existing damaged exterior Double Steel Door, Steel Door Frame and Door Hardware in the Trash Compactor Room at Cedar High Rise. The work includes all permits, labor, materials and equipment for the work per attached scope of work. The work includes removing and hauling away existing double door and frame. The trash compactor room will be operational during the project. The contractor is required to always keep the job site safe. Contractors are required to verify in field all measurements for bidding purposes (V.I.F.).] The project consists of replacing the existing damaged double steel door, metal frame and door hardware. The exterior door to be replaced is located at the rear compactor room. The work includes all permits, labor, materials and equipment for the work per attached scope of work. a. Remove and replace the damaged double steel door, steel frame and existing door hardware. Do not Remove the existing door until new door and frame are in place and ready to install. Remove all debris from site. Remove the existing door closers, door hinges and separate the double door from the frame. Each door has (3) butt hinges installed on the Metal Frame. Remove old caulking, existing Jams/Trim that are set on masonry brick wall opening. b. Provide and install new metal frames, new double steel doors and door hardware to match existing: (2) 40 x 83 1/418ga . 1-3/4 Hallow Metal Doors x flush. Left Hand Reverse (LHR) and Right Hand Reverse (RHR). (1) 2" Removable center post to match frame. (1) 85" x 101.5" 16ga . Custom Frame with solid panel WR 1000 1 x 80 x 13" insulated panel. (2) Commercial heavy-duty closers. (1) Weather seal packages. (2) Door sweeps. (3) Pack Hinges per door 4.5" x 4.5" Heavy Duty Commercial Stainless Steel Self Closing Hinges with Non-Removable Pin. (1) Provide and install Schlage Knob Heavy Duty Commercial Orbit Lock to match existing or equal approved to accept Interchangeable Core (SFIC) FALCON 7-Pins SFIC or equal approved. (KEYED TO A MASTER KEY SYSTEM, PER OWNER REQUIREMENTS). Finish/Coating: Satin Chrome. (1) Provide and install Stainless Steel Heavy-Duty Latch Guard Plate to match existing, to prevent forced entry. Prime-Line U 9496 or equal approved. (1) Provide and install Stainless-Steel Heavy-Duty Door Bolt: Barrel Bolt, 1/2 " Ht., 1 1/2" Wd., 4" Lg. to latch door from the interior on the concrete floor. (2) Provide and install Stainless Steel Manual Flush Bolt - Metal doors (pack of 2). Hager 052286 282D US26D or equal approved.
