Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) requires labour, materials and equipment to remove three existing floating dock systems and associated pipe piles (except the middle set, replaced in 2018), and to install new floating docks and pipe piles at the same location in Meteghan, Nova Scotia. Demolish and dispose of 3 existing concrete docks and 8 timber docks, remove existing electrical systems, remove and reinstall gangways, remove 10 existing steel pipe pile supports, install 10 new steel pipe piles with sacrificial anodes, construct and install 12 new floating docks (8 at 16.760 m and 4 at 18.300 m), install new electrical systems, dock connections, wear plates, bridge plates and related marine works.
