The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers for copper pipe water services. The Agreement will commence on the contract term start date approved by the City Council or the Effective Date, whichever is later, and will continue for five years with no extension options. The Agreement may terminate earlier by reaching the end of the term, including any exercised extensions, or by provisions stated in the Agreement. Written Inquiries Due Date:July 15, 2026, 2:00pm The Contractor shall furnish, package, and deliver copper piping to the City of Phoenix Water Services Department facilities in support of multiple divisions . All materials shall meet the requirements specified in this IFB. A. Material Requirements - All copper piping furnished under this contract shall comply with the requirements of ASTM B88, Type K and shall be provided in the following configurations : 1. Sixty-foot (60') lengths in Type K soft coils 2. Twenty-foot (20') lengths in Type K straight pipe B. Packaging and Palletization: 1. All 60-foot coils shall be individually packaged. 2. 1-inch copper coils: 25 coils per pallet (1,500 linear feet per pallet) 3. 4-inch copper coils: 40 coils per pallet (2,400 linear feet per pallet) 4. 1 1/2 -inch straight copper pipe: 20-foot lengths, 320 linear feet per box 5. 2-inch straight copper pipe: 20-foot lengths, 180 linear feet per box C. Delivery and Inspection - All materials shall be delivered to the designated City facility. 1. All materials furnished under this contract shall be subject to inspection upon delivery by an authorized representative of the City of Phoenix Water Services Department. Acceptance shall be based on conformance with all specifications, requirements, and contract terms. 2. If any materials are found to be non-compliant or defective: a. The City reserves the right to reject such materials. b. The Contractor shall , at no additional cost to the City, promptly correct, replace, or remove and resubmit compliant materials. c. Rejected materials shall be removed by the Contractor in a timely manner
