The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL, requires fire pump repacking for a Peerless 5AEF11G 1000 GPM Fire Pump in accordance with local fire codes and regulatory authority to ensure the fire system functions properly in the event of an emergency. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and travel to and from the worksite. Detailed requirements are defined in the Performance Work Statement incorporated into the solicitation. Contractor shall commence work within 14 calendar days after contract award and complete work within 14 calendar days of commencement. In order to maintain integrity of this solicitation and subsequent award date, all offerors are advised that any question and answer requests must be submitted in a written form via e-mail to the Contracting Officer Sonja.Freeman@va.gov no later than THURSDAY, JULY 9, AT NOON CENTRAL TIME.
